Would Rock This

Today nothing is going right for me.......boo I feel like I got hit by a truck and so I have to resort to the good ole' imagination to take me into a land far far away from the present suckiness. Really I have no energy and may be on a stress burnout do to the time that is ticking away till my sister gets married, (what is wrong with this picture?) not even the bride and I'm sooooo stressed not to mention good old auntie flow is also making her way into town here shortly so I'm noting short of a basket case, good thing I'm a dreamer because when I look at this outfit it has my name written all over it, now if I could get the budget to match it we would be in business fo shiz. Deadlines slow the posts...

My sister is getting married in approximately 3 1/2 months and I need to get my house ready for hosting and all the family usual, except I am way behind I've been painting and decorating like a mad woman it's been my life 24/7 so the blog posting has gotten lax sorry...I hope to be up and running again full force as soon as I get some time and after my house is in order I will start blogging more seriously with tips, diy's, and other useful information as for now thank you for your patience and consideration.  Here's some design love to you all and a great picture that I would love to incorporate in my own home design by the way, cheers!!!!!!!

Festive Food and Beautiful Pictures

Eye candy for the day.... which by the way got me thinking while I was reading one of my favorite blogs talking about being a prop stylist that it really would be fun to do that one day doesn't the very top photo look even more delicious the way it is arranged? I love it, so festive and fun, I need to add that to the top of my"what I want to be when I grow up" list.

Yellow Happiness

Today calls for a good old fashion red type writer and lots of yellow just like this room, I mean I'm really feeling it today...and I feel like I have so much to say that I don't say enough so I think I might just find a typewriter and go nuts instead! Life is so full of so many things and experiences and I just feel like I'm so behind sometimes and not to mention a big time perfectionist in a lot of areas of life so yeah pair those together and just see what you get! Exactly my point...looks like I have some catching up to do......but don't fear for me it is coming, it is.

Orange & Blue

Lately I'm feeling the orange and blue together (they just well.. make me happy) It gives me that little lift in spirits which is very thing I need these days! Also, don't you just love these cute cards from Smock.

My Design Inspiration for today...

Don't you just love the look of these different shapes it creates such definition almost architectural, I just love the back drop on the walls the grey really pops and you can't forget the detail of yellow on the lanterns..these are some of my favorite colors infact I painted the ceiling of my bedroom this seafoam blue green color and it makes me happy everytime I look up when I'm falling asleep.
