The Wedding is Over

And unfortunately today it feels as though I am over too, when all was said and done with my sister's wedding and my family went home I am stuck in bed for days exhausted and sick from all the pre-wedding/during wedding/and post wedding activities! Hosting is no easy job for two weeks! My house is a disaster and I feel drained with no energy to do anything about it (hence I am forced to live in a disaster while already feeling like a disaster) boo...........boo to sickness, boo to stress, boo to cluttered spaces...i will find my way through this in one piece though, rest assured.

Photography 101: The Challenge

I'm afraid it's time...time to read this baby from front to cover and learn anything and everything I can about the amazing surprise gift that my husband got me last year! While shopping I was in line returning some goods and my husband said that he would switch on and off in the line with me because it was so long because we were going to have to be there for like an hour, meanwhile I'm standing in line and I'm looking around he is no where to be found and by this point I'm starting to get upset that he isn't keeping his end of the bargain and just when I thought I was going to have to leave this line and go find him he came up behind me with a bag and said I have a surprise for you...anyway long story short he said I couldn't look until we got home and I was stunned when I did, there in that bag was the most precious gift anyone could have given me, a Nikon D40 camera.....one little device that could encompass so many of my life passions all in one (being in nature, design, capturing priceless moments, creativity, and so on) anyways so you get the point but now the time has arrived for me to take the plunge, and so the challenge is on I will read this from front to back, no excuses, and guess what after I'm done I am so going to need practice so take hold you photo loving people and come be my guinea pigs so I can get good at this!

This Danish clothing line by Noa Noa is not only beautiful but the photography is excellent and the shots they've taken of their models are down right exquisite...i aspire to this kind of brilliance....(if  you can't get enough of them either find more here.)

{Amour}

So I have to post about these two lovely people in my life who are about to tie the knot..my soon to be sister-in-law Emma and my brother of almost four years Isaac.  I just want to give a shout out for this darling couple and tell Emma, if your reading that this one is my fav., it reminds me of a magazine! I got the photo from your blog Emma because I just had to post it!

This is what the up & coming photographer Chrissie White does she creates photos that are so appealing that once you see them you fall in love and instantly grab your camera and run for the door so inspired. I particularly like the lighting and vintage feel she has to her shots as well as the scenes she shoots, this one is just plain brilliant!
